Sustainability Struggles

As climate minded designers, it can be hard to deliver on the level of sustainability we would like. Whether blocked by cost, client buy in, company disinterest, systemic or quality barriers, there are many things that can get in the way. Sometimes these struggles result in an eventual win, but often there are compromises, and occasionally a total fail. We will begin the morning by introducing ourselves and our respective climate challenges, then break out into small groups to ideate on struggles and solutions around a variety of prompts. This event is ideal for those who are actively working at the intersection of design and sustainability in some form. Our goal is to provide a space to connect on the struggles unique to this challenging work. It can be a lot to figure out alone. Let's learn from each other! Coffee and tea are served.
