About the event

Join us with your family for three exciting climate education workshops! Kids are welcome from 9yo+. Climate Fresk The Climate Fresk is a science-based workshop that aims to educate and raise awareness about climate change worldwide. It is used in 150+ countries to deliver quality education on the climate crisis in communities, companies, schools, universities and institutions. Based on the IPCC reports, it explains how and why the climate changes at the current pace and the consequences of its disruption. It is a fun, creative and thought-provoking workshop that gives participants the opportunity to learn a lot in a very short period of time for both novices and experts. There is no prerequisite, it is accessible to everyone! How the game works: The workshop is based on a 42-card game. Each card represents an aspect of climate change. As a team, guided by your facilitator, you are to find the cause and effect relationship between the different components of climate change. Collective intelligence will get you from one deck of cards to the next! This step-by-step collage provides keys to understand the complexity and develop a strong understanding of the science.

2tonnes You are convinced of the climate emergency, but you don't know what to do or where to start? Individual or collective actions? Becoming a flexitarian or buying second-hand? Renovating your home or cycling to work ? Getting involved in an association or in your workplace?

You always dreamed about taking a step back and imagine a world scenario for a low carbon transition scenario ? What if you could take actions, not only individually, but at a global level, implicating every countries and major companies ? Would you achieve to reach the goals of the Paris Agreement for Climate ?

The 2tonnes workshop is made for you if you want to understand in a concrete and playful way what it takes for our society to become carbon neutral in 2050. With other participants, you will form a team whose mission is to build a transition scenario to limit climate change to +1.5°C. To do so, you will choose both individual AND collective actions to take in the next 30 years and see thanks to our live simulation after each round of decisions what are the impacts of your choices and how your transition scenario progresses towards the 2050 goal.

At the end of the workshop, you will have an overview of what a transition to net zero means in terms of actions to prioritize at different scales, which actors and sectors will be impacted.

Digital Collage The Digital Collage focuses on the impact of digital technologies on the environment.

It is a fun and collaborative workshop with a similar educational method as the Climate Fresk. The workshop also aims to lay down the key solutions to build a more sustainable digital sector. It then encourages participants to discuss on the topic for fruitful debate. This workshop is a real team-building tool, allowing participants to come together and discover how to achieve sustainability in the digital sector.
